Spring maize is an important crop to meet the growing demand for maize. Moisture stress yield limiting factor during dry spring period. Biochar and plastic mulch help in soil moisture conservation might contribute growth of A field experiment was conducted evaluate effects biochar application on growth, yield, attributing characteristics (Zea mays L.) a sandy loam at Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal 2018. The laid out split-plot design (SPD) with three replications. Main plots were allocated mulching (mulching, no mulching) while Subplot rates 0 t/ha, 5 15 25 t/ha.
